THERESA A. ZOLKOS (NEE BRAV) HIGHLAND, IN Theresa A. Zolkos (nee Brav), age 84, of Highland, IN passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012. She is survived by her three sons: Rodd (Katherine Willhoite) Zolkos of Chicago, IL, Timm (Cate) Zolkos of Amherst, MA, and Peter (Michelle) Zolkos of Boulder, CO; four grandchildren: Ellen (Jonny) Szczesniak of Philadelphia, PA, Scott Zolkos of Falmouth, MA, and Geoff Zolkos of Boulder, CO; great granddaughter, Josie Szczesniak of Philadelphia, PA; brother, Joe (Eva) Brav of Cedar Lake, IN; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Zolkos was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; and two brothers: Frank and Michael Brav. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 3025 Highway Ave., Highland, IN with Rev. Edward Moszur officiating. Interment will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Monday, December 3, 2012 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. (prayer service 3:30 p.m.) at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN. Mrs. Zolkos was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church of Highland. She enjoyed music and playing her piano. Theresa was a longtime and well loved resident of her neighborhood.
