THOMAS P. MARTIN HAMMOND, IN Thomas P. Martin, age 63, of Hammond, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Laura Jane (nee Webb); two children: Timothy (Kathleen) Martin of Noblesville, IN and Tammy (Daniel) Farmer of Schererville; mother, Helen (Dieter) Jentzsch of Munster; three granddaughters: Abigail and Delaney Martin both of Noblesville, IN and Allison Farmer of Schererville; two brothers: Richard Martin of Marion, IN and David (Becky) Martin of Chattanooga, TN; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his father, William Charles Martin; three brothers: Bob and Jim Moore, and Bill Martin. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Levell Kensey, Minister, officiating. Cremation preceded the service. Friends are invited to meet with the family Thursday from 4:00- 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mr. Martin was a member of the Lansing Church of Christ and the East Chicago Masonic Lodge F&AM #595. He retired from Central Rent A Crane of Hammond and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #150. Memorial contributions may be made in Thomas's loving memory to the family or the church building fund.
