Victoria T. Ortiz, 81, of Crown Point, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 14, 2017. She is survived by her loving children, Dominic (Melissa), Mario (Todd), Mark, and Maria, Grandchildren Rosendo, Collin, C.J., and Phoebe, as well as several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her loving husband Roman Ortiz, and brothers and sisters. Victoria was a member of the Democratic Precinct Committee of Highland, and a devout member of St. James Church in Highland. She also enjoyed perusing local flea markets for her next unique find. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd., Highland, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held DIRECTLY at St. Michael Church, Schererville, IN on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 10:30 am, with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
