Bill was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother and friend whose passion for life was matched only by his deep love for his family. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones—especially his grandchildren, Theodore and Ellie—who brought him endless joy and pride.
A true gearhead at heart, Bill found peace and purpose under the hood of a car. He worked for many years at Certified Auto and Transmission in Valparaiso, where he was known for his skill, dedication, and passion for the trade. Beyond the shop, Bill had a lifelong enthusiasm for racing, particularly at the Morocco 41 raceway. His love for speed and precision extended to cruising in his cherished Monte Carlo, which was more than just a car—it was a reflection of his adventurous and spirited nature.
Bill’s warmth, humor, and unwavering dedication to those he loved will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his mother, Nickoletta Ramsey; his son, Nickolas (Victoria) Minnick; his significant other, Sherry Middleton; his treasured grandchildren, Theodore and Ellie Minnick; his sister, Nicole Floyd; his brother, Tony (Lauri) Lungaro; his nephews, John Minnick and Levi Lungaro; and many dear friends and coworkers.
He is preceded in death by his dad, William Oscar Minnick, Sr.
A visitation for Bill will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN 46322.
