Mr. Albert L. Reaves, 93, of Chattanooga, passed away early on April 21, 2022. Albert was born in Clayton, NC on May 25, 1928 to the late James Walter Reaves and Mary Ida Morris Reaves. He received a Bachelors Degree in engineering from North Carolina State University. He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps. Albert was a retired Research Chemical Engineer at DuPont. He was a long time member at Red Bank Baptist Church.
Albert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Frances Hollis Reaves in 2005.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters Faye Reaves Coe and Julie Reaves Goodhue (Ken Jr.); grandchildren, David (Susan) Coe, Michael Coe, Kevin Coe, Barbara Goodhue, and Ken Goodhue III (Kirsti); great grandchildren, Tyler, Carson, Garrett and Kaden Coe and Charlotte and John Goodhue; several nephews and nieces and many dear friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 26th from 1-3 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel-Hixson. The funeral service will be in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 pm with Rev William Doremus officiating. Entombment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens
