

Red was born on June 3, 1930, in Middletown, CT., and was the son of the late Charles F. and Amelia Shina Jablonski. He was a 1950 graduate of Newmarket High School. Red was a member of the Newmarket Polish Club, Rockingham Country Club and Moccasin Bend in Chattanooga, where he was an avid golfer. He was a painter and had worked for John Stevens and the Cheney Corporation.
Red is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lillian Barker Jablonski; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn M. and Jody Shea of Chattanooga; son and daughter-in-law, Keith E. and Deborah Jablonski of Harrisonville, MO; granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Heather M. and Todd Hatfield of Chattanooga and Shelly and Chris Whigham of Kansas City, MO; great grandchildren, Caroline and William Hatfield, Lily, Madeline and Olivia Whigham; brothers, Chester Jablonski of Newmarket and Robert Jablonski of Barrington; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:30 am on Saturday at the North Chapel.
Services for Red will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday at the North Chapel. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Memorial Hospital and Caris Hospice of Chattanooga and his sitters with Care Assist for their love and support during this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Hospital Foundation, 2525 DeSales Ave., Chattanooga, TN 37404.
