

Amy Lynn Hall (formerly McGauley), age 53, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, February 27, 2012. A native Chattanoogan Amy graduated from Girls Preparatory School and attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Amy attended Silverdale Baptist Church. Amy had a passion for life which was evident through her massage therapy, fitness, marathon walking and cycling. Her love for cycling was shared with her special friend, Joe Nivert.
Preceded in death by grandparents, Herman and Forest Hall, Reece and Virginia Bull; aunt, Margaret Harris.
Survived by parents, William (Janice) Hall of Panama City, Florida and Mary Jane Hall of Chattanooga, Tennessee; brother, Bill (Cheryl) Hall of Chattanooga, Tennessee; sisters, Jan (Don) Cox of Panama City, Florida and Jill (Dr. Joe) Acosta of Meridian, Mississippi; step brothers, Chuck and Scott Cluxton of Florida; nephews Andrew Hall and Taylor Martin of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Josh Acosta of Meridian, Mississippi and Adam (Hope) Mabry of Boston, Massachusetts; nieces Ginny Hall and Madeline Martin of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Missie (Blake) Hayden of Owensboro, Kentucky and Maggie (Ricky) Baldino of Tampa, Florida; 5 great-nieces, 1 great nephew and numerous close friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 3, at 1 PM at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor Adam Mabry officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday after the service at the funeral home.
