Barbara was born in Chattanooga and was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga/Hixson area. She was a member of Dallas Bay Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ethel Stulce Adams; and her brother, Harold Adams.
Barbara is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, David L. Graves; daughter, Teresa (Monty) Bishop; son, Russell (Kim) Graves; grandchildren, Ryan and Evan Bishop and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 pm on Wednesday at the North Chapel.
Graveside services for Barbara will follow at 1 pm on Wednesday at the Chapel of Devotion at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Doctor David McNabb officiating.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be made in Barbara’s name to the Library Fund at Dallas Bay Baptist Church, 8305 Daisy Dallas Road, Hixson, TN 37343.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
