Beaver Dian Eubank of Chattanooga passed away on Friday, June 1, 2012. She was a member of the Church of Christ (Daisy, Clearcreek and Red Bank). In her lifetime she was employed at Provident Insurance, Texas Wesleyan University and the Tennessee Aquarium. She loved God, her life, family, friends, animals, nature and softball. She was an organ donor.
Beaver played softball since the age of 15 with Rebel Drive Inn, Provident Vets and Big Dogs. She played in many state and national tournaments, shared in seven National Championships and was inducted into the Greater Chattanooga Sports Hall of Fame.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Alberta Eubank.
Beaver is survived by one brother, Leslie (Rita) Eubank, one nephew, Taylor (Megan) Eubank, one niece, Jordan (Steven) Owens, grandniece and nephews, Audra and Elias Eubank and Brannon Owens.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to all of her relatives and friends, Dr. Stanley, Dr. DePasquale, Dr. Schlabach and Dr. Melvin and to all the staff and volunteers of Hospice of Chattanooga for their compassionate care.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 pm Monday at the North Chapel. A graveside service will be held 12:00 noon Tuesday, June 5, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA.
