Ben served our country during World War II in the United States Army. He retired from Otis Elevator Company with over 46 years of service. Ben was an avid fisherman.
Ben is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ben and Clara Swann; siblings, Mary Brooks of Knoxville, TN, Robert Swann, Archdale, NC, Charles K. Swann of Carlisle, OH and Ray Swann of Newport, TN.
Graveside services were held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
