She is preceded in death by her parents, Harle and Adie McDowell; three sisters and one brother.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Clayton L. Adkins; son, Clay Adkins, Jr.; grandchildren, Ryan and Natalie Adkins and a sister, Sanra (Howard) Seitz.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 7 pm to 9 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel with interment to follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
