

Bobbie Lee Tedder passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the age of 87. She was born on June 23, 1928, in Whitwell, TN to the late George Washington and Cora Brown Vandergriff.
Preceding her in death are her husband of 25 years, William Randall Tedder, and eight siblings; Thelma Thompson, James Vandergriff, Gladys McClendon (Jim), Louise Hartman (Douglas), Jo Swafford (Bill), Eva Vandergriff, Neva Rogers (Jake), and George Vandergriff (Betty).
She is survived by her sister, Zula Ridley (Ralph); three children, Sandra Johnson (Joey), Gordon Atterton (Penny), and Phyllis Wilson; eight grandchildren, Shanon Sanders, Beth Lynch, Brooke Haluska (Edward), Chad Atterton, Kellie Stowe, Paige Blalock (Jay), Jamie Sullivan (Jeff), and Robin Norris; and twelve great grandchildren.
Bobbie was a long time resident of Soddy Daisy, TN. She was very active in her church, New Grace Baptist Church of Soddy Daisy. She was a talented artist who enjoyed creating a wide variety of beautiful arts and crafts. She also enjoyed cooking large meals for those she loved and was a skilled cake decorator. She will be remembered most, however, for her kind heart and love of God.
The family will receive visitors from 4pm until 8pm on Thursday, January 7 and from 12pm until 2pm on Friday, January 8, 2016, at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel.
Pastor Lynn Carroll will officiate the funeral service to be held at 2pm on Friday, January 8, 2016. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
