Bobby was retired from Provident life and Accident Insurance Company. He was a member of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church. Bobby enjoyed playing golf , tennis and enjoyed being with friends. He retired and worked for Signal Mountain Post Paper. Bobby served in the United States Navy.
Bobby was preceded in death by his daughters Cheryl Irvine and Debbie Newberry; parents A.V. and Doretha Anderson.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 58 years Pat Anderson of Signal Mountain, TN; daughter Pam Anderson of Signal Mountain, TN; sister Donna (Blaine) Thomas of Huntsville, AL; two grandsons Justin Newberry and Tyler Irvine; granddaughter Kara Irvine; several great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 11-1:30 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel
Graveside service will be conducted at 2 pm on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Chattanooga National Cemetery with The Reverend Robert Hartmans officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Bobby’s name to Hospice of Chattanooga
