

He was a Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from a long-lived trucking career. From driving a semi-truck for many years to ending as the Safety Director of Spirit Express.
He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Dill Cooke. Siblings: Cindy (H.C.) Sunderland, Terri (Gary) Watson, Tracy Cooke, and Becki (Rodney) Smith. Children: James (Alma) Barnett, Kenny (Jeanette) Barnett, Keith (Angela) Barnett and Tina (Frankie) Stone. Grandchildren: Misty (Jerrid) Barnett, Christopher (Brynn) Barnett, Jena (Chase) Barnett, Donovan (Joanna) Barnett, Brittany Barnett, Kimberly (Clay) Bacon, Josh Stone, Shana (Anthony)Joslin. Great-Grandchildren: Brett, Alayna, Brooklyn, Thomas, Jupiter, Liam, and Josie.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Mother, Charlotte Bouldin and Father, J. Thurston Cooke and Stepmother, Jo Ella.
Bryan was an immensely proud Marine and loved his country, enthused to let everyone know. His patriotism had no end, his faith was even stronger, and he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Graveside services will be 11:00 am Friday, March 15 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Britt Watson officiating and military honors.
Pallbearers include Christopher Barnett, Donovan Barnett, Josh Stone, Cecile Seay, Rodney Smith, Gary Watson, Chase Smith and Todd Finnell.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Christ Reformed Church.
