Mr. Carmen Henry Julian

Carmen Henry Julian, 80, of Chattanooga passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2010.

He was the son of the late Ella Sharp and Floyd C. Julian of Knoxville, TN

A resident of Knoxville he moved to Chattanooga when transferred by TVA in 1955. He retired in 1984.

Mr. Julian served in the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Earl C. Julian, Bobby Julian, and Carroll Julian

Survivors include his wife of 59 years Barbara Morgan Julian; children, David H. (Debbie) Julian, of Chattanooga, Deborah J. (Boyce) Tate, of Lake Worth, FL, Richard D. Julian, of Chattanooga, Denise J. Miles, of Chattanooga; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, L.D. Julian, of Knoxville, TN, Billie (Wayne) James, of Vermillion, S.D., JoElla (Thurston) Cooke, of Soddy Daisy, TN, Pauline (Stan) Babb, of Rossville, GA, Tommy Julian, of Knoxville, TN, Darrell (Peggye) Julian, of Dandridge, TN ; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Friday, August 13, 2010 at the North Chapel with Rev. Wayne James officiating.

Six grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from noon until 2:30 PM on Friday, August 13, 2010 at the North Chapel.
