She was a graduate of Tyner High School and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Charlene was employed by the Tennessee Valley Authority, and Olan Mills. She was a long-time member of the Church of God.
Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Wanda Jacobs.
She is survived by her sister, Janet Camden, of Atlanta, GA, her aunt, Judy (Darle) Parker, of Chattanooga, and best friend, Don Goodwin, of Rossville, GA, also surviving Charlene are her 2 nieces, Kristen Camden, and Corinne Camden.
Funeral services will be conducted from the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home at 2:00 PM on Saturday March 21, 2026. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 PM until service time at North Chapel.
