David Ryan Pedigo

David Ryan Pedigo passed away on September 13, 2024. He was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN. He went to Tyner High School and graduated in 1984. He attended The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Education in 1989.

He taught band at a middle school in Cleveland, TN and Wolftever Elementary school after graduating. He played percussion in the Chattanooga Symphony for over 30 yrs. In addition he taught Band Ensemble at Chattanooga State since 2015 and also at Baylor for a number of years. He gave a number of students private lessons as well. Music was his life and he brought joy and inspiration with his playing and love of music to countless others. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, family, and cats, going to concerts, and traveling.

He is predeceased by his father, John Monroe Pedigo, mother, Dorothy Long Pedigo, brother, Roger Lynn Pedigo and sister, Deana Loy Pedigo.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Turner, step-daughter, Prema Evelyn Noble, sister, Janet Fuller (Dennis) Jones, Nephews, Caleb (Catherine) Fuller, Jordan (Ashleigh) Fuller, Micah (Melissa) Fuller and great-nephews, Charley, Liam, Thomas Monroe, and a great-niece, Alexia.

A Visitation and a Celebration of David’s Life will be held Saturday September 21, 2024 at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am followed by the memorial service starting at 1 pm.
