Doris was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was retired as an office manager.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband Edward Curtis Melton
Doris is survived by her son Randy( Gloria) Melton ; two daughters Lorri Posey and Lisa Wilson; three grandchildren Monica Moore, Chip Wilson and Elizabeth Wilson; great grandchildren Levi Moore and Mary Celeste Moore
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 26, 2014 from 12- 2 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel
Funeral service for Doris will be conducted at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel Reverend David Brackett
Interment to follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens
