Edward was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Lorena Walker Harker, and Jiles D. Duren.
Edward is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Davis Harker, daughters, Betsy H. (Dan) Sparks, Cara D. Davis, son, Edward D. (David) Harker, two grandchildren, sister, Louise Harker Gregory and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, at the North Chapel of the Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. following visitation and be held in the adjoining cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
