Emmett worked for Southern Railroad and Norfolk Southern Railroad for 38 years in the Freight Claims Division. He was a member of the Cleveland Lodge # 134 F and AM. Emmett was a member of First Baptist Church Golden Gateway and the Seekers Sunday School Class.
Emmett is preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Pearl Seaborn; brothers Doyle, Thomas, and James Seaborn
Emmett is survived by his wife Jo Ann Seaborn; daughter Teresa ( Charles) Groves III; grandchildren Cynthia, Christina, and Charles Groves IV
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 4-7 pm and Monday, December 2, 2013 from 12- 2pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Monday, December 2 in the funeral home chapel
With Dr. Dale Huff and Dr. Thomas Quisenberry officiating
Interment will follow to Hamilton Memorial Gardens
