

She was a faithful member of White Oak United Methodist Church for 72 Years, where she taught kindergarten for many years. She also worked for W. T. Grant Company in the office.
She loved to crochet and her talented handwork became wide spread as she shared with family and friends.
Without a doubt man-maw held the title of “Best Grandmother Ever” her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her main focus. She and her husband “Paw-paw took many fun trips, went to recitals, athletic games, and school functions.
After retirement Fannie Mae and Jack spent winter month in Englewood, Florida loving the sand and the sunsets.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, O.L. “Jack” Seymour, her parents and all five of her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her two sons, Jack (Kay) Seymour, and Ron (Cathy) Seymour; four grandchildren, Mark ( Darla) Seymour, Cindy and Doug Moore, Emily (Travis) Shears, and Katie (Freddy) Edgemon; as well as her seven great grandchildren.
A Special thank you to Krystal, April, and Kandance for their devotion and loving care of our mother, and also to the hospice staff.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00 Pm at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 5401 Hwy 153, Hixson, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Amy Nutt officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Mark Seymour, Sloan Seymour, Sawyer Seymour, Doug Moore, Jackson Moore, Travis Shears, and Freddy Edgemon.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Chattanooga or the Alzheimer’s Association.
