She leaves behind a legacy of love in her husband, Jim, of 56 years, children - Kelly (Savage), Jimmy, and Preston, 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
Her proud roots were in Louisiana, but she was transplanted to Tennessee in 1968, where she devoted herself to raising a family established in Christ’s love.
In her 40s, she returned to college and graduated from UT Chattanooga and was subsequently promoted to Human Resources Specialist at American Water Company. She was an active member of Executive Women International.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 26 at First Baptist - Golden Gateway in Chattanooga, where she was a longtime member. Visitation will follow.
Flowers are welcome, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
