Jesse Graham Pettit, 43, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on February 17, 2026. He is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, where he is no doubt marveling at the mysteries that have been made clear. He was aware that we see dimly, and he was always pressing to see clearly.
Born on January 11, 1983, in Tokyo, Japan, Jesse attended Chattanooga Christian School and Covenant College. He lived his life deliberately trying to serve others. Jesse believed firmly in the dignity of each individual. He was an owner of ASP Pool and Spa for many years and most recently worked as a salesman for Horizon Stone and Majestic Stone. His magnetic personality and integrity were key to his success in all that he did. He was always willing to drop everything to take care of his customers.
Jesse loved his people with a deep love. His wife, his children, and all of his family remember him as the man who was present and loved unconditionally. He was always interested in people and loved to talk with them. We will miss his joyful and attentive presence in our lives.
Jesse was a kind and gentle man known for his deep curiosity, open mind, and genuine interest in people. He loved to have deep and meaningful conversations and valued others’ opinions and thoughts. He made those around him feel seen and valued. He was curious and full of wonder and was known to call and share what new thing he was thinking about. Jesse loved travel, camping, and every kind of adventure. He believed in showing up fully — and on time — for the people he loved.
He was a devoted husband to Morgan and a proud father to Michael and Sarah. He cherished his stepchildren, Ashton and Kylan Moore. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Laura Pettit; his siblings, Luke Pettit (Laura), Adelaide Harmon (Sid), and Paul Pettit; his grandparents Robert and Lenora Huffaker; along with many extended family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Joan Pettit.
A memorial service for Jesse will be held at Calvary Chapel, 3415 Broad St, Chattanooga, TN on Monday at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson. Please share your thoughts and memories at www.chattanooganorthchapel.com
