Joan was the true meaning of Love! She was originally from Salem, Massachusetts, and had been a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area. She will be missed by everyone she touched.
She leaves behind her brothers, Eugene Dickey and James Dickey; sister, Sharon (Dickey) Grove; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her special friends, Diana Schaaf and Lynn Hamilton.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 pm on Wednesday, September 4, at the North Chapel.
Funeral services will follow at 6 pm on Wednesday, at the North Chapel. Burial will be held private on Thursday, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Chattanooga for their love and support during Joan’s illness.
