Mr. John ED Leeson Sr.

Ed Leeson, Sr., 76, of Hixson, TN went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, March 30, 2010.

He was a Christian above all else but also a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Mr. Leeson was born and raised in Ravenswood, WV and a graduate of WV University. He served in the United States Air Force as a pilot and later as a regional sales manager for American Hoechst Chemical Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents C.E. and Dottie Leeson of Ravenswood, WV.

Survivors include his wife, Carole of 55 years; his sons, Ed Leeson, Jr. and wife Carol of Kingsport, TN; Mark and wife Faye of Newport News, VA; daughter Michelle Moore and husband Greg of Tullahoma, TN. His eight grandchildren include Ben Leeson, Daniel Leeson, Laura Leeson, Brandon Leeson, Matthew Leeson, Jeremy Moore, Jessica Moore, and Jordan Moore; his sister, Brigg Frazier of Columbus, Ohio, his brother, Bill Leeson and wife Bobbie of Columbus, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 1, 2010 in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Dr. David McNabb officiating.

Burial will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors at 2:30 PM, 1200 Bailey Ave., Chattanooga TN

The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 and on Thursday from noon until the time of the service at the North Chapel.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416.
