Juanita was born in Willow Grove, Tn and resided in Overton and Putnam counties for most of her adult life. She moved to Hixson in 1989.
Juanita was a member of the North Hamilton church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her partens Cora Audrey (Hawkins) Arms and Willie Hatten Arms of Algood, TN and a sister Lucille (Hawkins) Mullinnax of Geff, Illinois.
She is survived by a brother Willie Hatten Arms (Virginia) of Algood, Tennessee, a son David Lee West (Theresa) of Springfield, Georgia, a daughter Deborah (West) Summers (Jerry) of Hixson, Tennessee, 5 grand-daughters, Angie Summers, of Hixson, Melissa Summers of Soddy, Amy (West) Fleming (Mark) of Houston, Texas, Kelly (West) Franklin of Matter, Georgia, Cayce West of Springfield, Georgia, 2 grandsons Chris West of Savannah,. Georgia and Cody West (Tami) of Springfield, Georgia., 3 great-granddaughters, Molly and Abby Fleming and Arianna West.
The family will receive friends from 4 pm to 8 pm Tuesday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home and from 9am to 11 am Wednesday with Funeral services at 11:30 am , at the North Chapel Chattanooga Funeral.
