Julia was born in Oak Grove, Tennessee to the late Francis and Eliza Sullivan Smith. She was retired from Singer Sewing Machine Company. Julia was a member of First Baptist Church in Morristown, Tennessee.
She is survived by her sister, Jo Ann Thompson and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 pm on Saturday, November 7, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Services for Julia will follow at 2:30 pm on Saturday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
