She was born on June 26, 1949, in Chattanooga to Robert and Ethel Dial. Linda was a graduate of Kirkman High School. She worked for the Signal Mountain Post Office as a mail carrier for over 20 years. After retirement in 2017, she found joy in reading, shopping, traveling, and spending time with her grandkids. Linda attended Lupton Drive Baptist Church.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, listed above and brother, Steve Dial.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Wayne Rogers; daughter, Stacy (Eddie) Tate; sons, Michael Rogers and Benjamin (Stephanie) Rogers; grandsons, Isaac (Casey) Tate and Bennett Rogers; brother, Bobby (Brenda) Dial; and sister, Roxie Dial.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Rachel, LaChandra, Casey, and the rest of the staff of Adoration Hospice for taking good care of Linda.

A visitation for Linda will be held Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home – North Chapel, 5401 Highway 153 Hixson, TN 37343. The funeral service will follow starting at 1:00 pm with Pastor Roger L. DeHart officiating. The family will then proceed to Chattanooga Memorial Park for the committal service with Pastor Billy Wallace officiating.
