Lyn Charlene Jenkins

Mrs. Linda “Lyn” Jenkins was born in Mobile, Alabama and moved to Tennessee to create a life which she loved here in Chattanooga. She was an amazing loving devoted faithful mother, wife, friend, and a faithful member  of Abba’s House and Refiner’s Fire LifeGroup with whom our Lord Savior Jesus Christ was her primary salvation to all this.

She will always be remembered and deeply missed for putting and loving others before herself in many different ways and touching others with kindness and her love. This was her way of living whether it was with being a loving devoted wife, loving devoted mother, her career as a Property Manager, with her family or as a friend. Her passing came sudden with our Lord Jesus Christ calling her home, which she rested assured in his faith, his grace and his love, 1 Corinthians 13:13 and Isaiah 40:31. She will be deeply missed and always loved by those who knew her and the ones she touched.

She is survived by her husband Mr. Otis Jenkins, Wade Creech son, Bryon Creech son, Jim Jenkins (Patsy) stepson, Billy Sasser (Debbie) brother, Debbie Niedemeyer (Ralph) sister, Charles Clark (Donnie) brother, nieces and nephews, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, family and friends.

The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, October 23rd from 10-11 am at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. There will be a Celebration of Lyn’s life in the funeral home chapel Wednesday at 11:00 am with Bishop Ronnie Phillips and Pastor Jim Biggs officiating.
