Marie Diana “Dee Dee” Warren Gilbreath, 80, of Signal Mountain, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Memorial Hospital. Dee Dee was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Enoch H. (Anita Buttram) Warren, Jr. and sister of the late William H. Warren. Dee Dee attended The Bright School, Notre Dame Catholic School and the Universities of Tennessee and Chattanooga, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where her family attended for many years and where she was an active member of Women of the Church. She and Bryant later attended Rivermont Presbyterian and First Christian Churches. Dee Dee and Bryant enjoyed many travel destinations but found their love of travel was in exploring the forty-nine states and Canada in their motor homes. They held membership and were officers in the Holiday Rambler Choo-Choo RV Club and loved their winter spent at Ancient Oaks in Okeechobee, FL and the time she spent with family at the lake enjoying board games, card games, puzzles, picnics and boating were her favorite memories. She was also preceded in death by her husband, W. Bryant Gilbreath, Sr.; her daughter, Meg and son, Walter. Survivors are her daughter, Susan Warren Gilbreath, Chattanooga and William Houston Gilbreath, Tampa, FL, several beloved cousins. A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 1-2 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel. A graveside service will be held after at 2:30 pm at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
