Mary Elizabeth Barfield, 84, passed away Sunday, December 2 in Panama City, Florida. She had lived most of her life in Chattanooga and was retired after long service as a bookkeeper with Chattanooga Coca-Cola Bottling and Coker Tire Company. She was of the Baptist faith.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, parents and several siblings.
Survivors include Sons Tony Barfield of Panama City, Florida and Steve Barfield of Atlanta; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 4 PM Friday, December 7 at the North Chapel, with a service to be held at 4 PM. Private entombment will take place Saturday in Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson.
