

Mike was of the Baptist faith and he loved the Lord. He was a longtime employee with World Wide Equipment of Chattanooga. He never met a stranger and had a great sense of humor. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He was an avid NASCAR fan, loved the beach and being on the lake in his boat.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Virginia Shipley Lowe; grandparents, Joe Sr., and Maude Lowe of Hixson and Oliver and Matilda Shipley of Sale Creek; mother-in-law, Janie M. Masters.
Mike was a wonderful husband who adored his loving wife, Michelle and their family.
Mike leaves behind his loving wife of 27 years, Michelle M. Lowe; brother, Ronnie (Michelle) Lowe; father-in-law, Curry E. Masters; brother-in-law, Mark (Stephanie) Masters; nephew, Skyler Edward Master; and his beloved dog, Pookie; all of Chattanooga; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Thursday and 1 to 2 pm on Friday at the North Chapel on Highway 153 in Hixson.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at 2 pm on Friday at the North Chapel with Reverend Jim Shoemate officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family wants to express their gratitude for the overwhelming response and support of their friends and community to Doctor Peter Boehm, Jr., Doctor Larry Schlabach and Doctor Frank Kimsey and their staff, the staff at Red Bank Life Care Center and Hospice of Chattanooga.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mike’s name to Hospice of Chattanooga, P. O. Box 46, Chattanooga, TN 37401 or the Humane Society of Chattanooga, 212 North Highland Park Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37404.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
