In her professional life, Peggy dedicated many years as a secretary at Gold Bond. She further extended her career at Pella Corporation in Iowa, where she worked for seven years before her retirement.
Peggy married Walter Allen Parker on December 10, 1960. They initially resided in College Corner, Ohio, before moving to Hixson, Tennessee, in 1973, where they lovingly raised their only daughter.
Her personal interests were as vibrant as her personality. Peggy loved traveling to Mississippi, Indiana, and Ohio to visit family. She delighted in reading books by Robert B. Parker and cherished family camping trips to state parks and beaches. Her hands were often busy with quilting, needlepoint, and cooking for her family.
Peggy had a special fondness for the color red, magnolia flowers, and the music of Conway Twitty. Above all, she adored her two grandkids, who were the light of her life.
She is preceded in death be her husband, Walter Allen Parker; parents, Cecil and Ruby Moore; and 2 brothers, Gary Moore and Gene Moore.
Here to continue Peggy's legacy is her daughter, Debbie Parker (Eric Cole); grandkids, Jake (Danielle) Parker and Isabella Cole; brother, Tim (Carol) Moore; and many nieces and nephews.
