Ralph was born in Chattanooga to the late Ralph and Mae Presswood Ferguson. He retired from Dixie Industries.
Ralph was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Lina Ferguson.
He is survived by his son, Ralph E. Ferguson, Jr.; grandchildren, Alvin James and Daniel Christopher Kinary.
The family will receive friends from 11 am to 8 pm on Tuesday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service for Ralph will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday at the North Chapel. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
