

He was a lifetime resident of Signal Mountain, TN.
Richard was a carpenter for many years and became a General Contractor, covering the Southeast.
He was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
An avid hunter, he loved the outdoors, was a true outdoorsman, and loved riding horses.
He fought and lived for his beautiful and loving wife Deb, and his grand “gold” children.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Clint and Dora Rogers Worley.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Deb Worley; 2 daughters, Kim Deakins, and Jenny (Shane) Scott, both of Dayton; son, Jeremy (Melissa) Worley, of Signal Mountain; his grandchildren, Hailey and Hannah Deakins, Mason and Chloe Scott, Preston, Parker, and Paisley Worley; 3 sisters, Brenda Lane, Judy Bunch, and Barbara Kennedy; 2 brothers, Ronnie Worley, and Robert Worley; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Glen Key officiating.
Interment will be in the Hall Cemetery, on Signal Mountain.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, on Tuesday evening February 21, 2023, at North Chapel.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
