He was a 1980 graduate of Tyner High School. Roy established his business, Roy Henderson Roofing Company, in 1986. He worked in roofing his entire career.
Roy was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly Moon Henderson, his parents Lee and Roy Henderson Sr., his daughter, Lauren Leigh Henderson, and his sister, Nancy Lee Henderson.
Roy is survived by his two sons, Roy L. Henderson III and Nicholas Henderson, his daughter Alexandria C. Henderson, and granddaughter Chloe Bella Evans. He is also survived by his 3 sisters, Susan Henderson, Judy Henderson, and Phyllis Henderson, and one brother, Jimmy Henderson.
Funeral services will be held at the graveside in Hamilton Memorial Gardens, at 2:00 PM on Thursday December 18, 2025 with Butch Oliver officiating. Prior to the graveside service the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
