Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Hyram H. and Wilma Mae McAlister Parker and one brother.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at Greenwood Cemetery, 1954 Greenwood Road, Chattanooga, TN 37406, with Father Buckley Robbins officiating.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Saint Barnabas for the love and care given to Mrs. Parker.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Barnabas Nursing Home, 950 Siskin Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37403.
