Scott was a multifaceted man: Mr. Fix-It, an avid hunter, a Disney fan, a son, a brother, a father, and a devoted fiance. He enjoyed the peace and solitude that hunting provided. He loved taking family trips to Disney, a tradition he began with his daughter when she was 7 years old.
He graduated from Hixson High School in 1980. In his time as a Wildcat he wrestled and played football. He worked at Dupont for over 30 years before he took a position with the City of Chattanooga in the department of Maintenance and Operations for the Carousel in 2018.
He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Morgan.
He leaves behind his beloved daughter Caitlyn Morgan and her partner Tyler Green, his mother June Morgan, sister Gina Bazemore and brother in law Gregg, nieces Jessica (Matt) George, and Megan Bazemore, his fiancé Patti Long and dear friends.
A Celebration of Scott's Life will be held in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm.
Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
