

William Sherold Walker entered into heaven on November 25th 2025. Sherold was a man of peace who had the presence of Christ throughout his Christian life. He was a man of compassion for Christ and a rock and strength of love and hope for his family through his gentle evidence that the Lord is always with them.
Sherold is remembered by his wife Nancy, his sons Jason and Brooks Walker of Chattanooga, his sister Paula Yvonne Shrader, brother LeBron Walker [Carolyn], his nephew Eric Shrader [Lauren) and his two nieces Madilyn and Isabelle Shrader. Sherold was a devoted and faithful friend of many, and he made the most of every opportunity to touch lives of those with his kindness, gentleness, and patience given to him from Christ.
Sherold graduated from Rossville High School, and he received a Bachelor of Science from Tennessee Tech University. Sherold began his career in teaching and coaching at Bradley Central High School in Cleveland Tennessee in the early 1970’s. He was an assistant football coach and began a wrestling program during his time at Bradley Central. He continued his teaching career at Rossville High as assistant football coach and head wresting coach for several years.
He entered the business sector in the mid 1970’s and worked his way up the ladder from entry level position to Vice President at Industrial Plating Company serving for over 35 years.
Sherold was a member of the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. He belonged to the Chattanooga Golf and Country Club. He was a member of the East Hamilton Lions Club and a 50-year member of Hill City #603 of the Grand Lodge of Tennessee in Chattanooga Tennessee.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
