She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and retired from TVA with 25 years of service. Sherry was a 48 year member of Hixson First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Max Porter.
Sherry is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ken Keel; children, Ryan and wife Keri Keel and Wesley and wife Julie Keel; mother, Lorene Porter; five grandchildren; siblings, Guerry and wife Jo Porter, Tim Porter and Kim and husband Mike Higdon; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm on Monday and 10 to 11 am on Tuesday at the North Chapel.
Services for Sherry will be held at 11 am on Tuesday at the North Chapel with Reverend Terry Shannon officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
