Sondra Kay Lively

She was born and raised in Athens, Tennessee. Sondra graduated from McMinn County High School and Tennessee Wesleyan College. She started her career as an insurance agent with State Farm in Athens in 1994 and moved to Chattanooga in 1999. Sondra was consistently a high producing agent winning many awards and accolades, most notably, the Golden Triangle Award in recognition of fifteen years membership in the Legion of Honor.

Sondra and her husband are members of GraceWorks Church and the Chattanooga Yacht Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hoyt Lively and Mamie Gunter and a brother, Gary Lively.

Sondra is survived by her loving husband, James “Jim” Jones; her devoted pets, Chip and Maggie; aunt, Lorene Gunter, Maryville, TN; cousin, Judy Baumbach, Knightdale, NC and many caring neighbors and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday, October 28, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday at the funeral home chapel with Dr. Bill Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
