Steve and I were co-workers at Texas Instruments. I would rate Steve as one of the most brilliant engineers I have ever come across. He was ever smiling and ALWAYS willing to help. Any time I had a question on CANbus, I'd turn to Steve. He continued to help me even after he left TI. An outstanding engineer and a VERY good human being. I will miss you Steve...

My memories of Steve bring a wonderful smile to my face and heart. I knew Steve when we lived in Houston and I shared many wonderful times with him and his sisters. My heartfelt condolences to all who knew and loved this wonderful funny man!

My deepest sympathy at the lost of Steve.  It has been over 40 years since I had and real contact, other that facebook with Steve, but I sure do have some great memories of the 50th Avenue gang.  Fun and games like flag football in Dale johnson's yard, kickball in the middle of 50th ave, baseball and football down at the crick, poker games in the garage behind Billy Wrieth's house or Helligso's basement, and the giant swimming pool in your back yard.  When I think about all of the kids I grew up with, and how we all turned out, we had one heck of a great group of people in our neighborhood.  While Steve is not the first to pass, (Jim Runyon, Tom Egan, Don Meyer) like the others, I now I speal for my sister and brother, he and you all were an integral part of our growing up and will be missed.  Thank God for the memories.

Steve was a good friend who shared with us, his Central High School mates, many funs times be it going to games, events or just a hallway meet-up.  A few years ago at our 40th Reunion [class of '67 for the numerically challenged] we had the chance of catching up with Steve.  He always was a good listener and cared about what was being said.  He certainly had many accomplishments of his own but those were not as important to him as he loved the art of conversation, being there!  We will certainly remember him for being that way.  He lived a great life.

My family and I extend our sincere condolences to the entire Corrigan Family. Steve and I became close friends in our High School years in Omaha, Nebraska. Before we ever met, however, our Fathers were friends. His Dad, Sheriff Patrick Corrigan and my Dad Atty. Ralph W. Adams, were close friends and colleagues. Steve's sister Sandy and cousin Elaine and I were also good friends growing up in Omaha. Steve and I recently reconnected by way of the Facebook social media. He will always be remembered as a positive and forward looking person who saw the good side of everything. He will be sorely missed. We pray for the peaceful repose of his soul. May he rest in eternal peace.

Steve was the kindest and most knowledgeable person on the CAN list. He always helped people in his kind, patient  and gentle way. He will be missed but not forgotten and my thoughts go to his family.

I was fortunate to work with Steve on many CANbus committees for the past 15 years - and many that I recruited him to join. He gladly shared his expertise and knowledge with anyone who asked. He helped to make those meeting enjoyable. My condolences to his family. I'm sure he will be missed in your world....but in ours as well.....

Steve was a friend and colleague at Kvaser, Inc. He was one of the foremost experts in the CAN industry. His practical experience and knowledge of the physical layer surpassed us all. He was talented in so many other areas including his beautiful stained glass works and his favorite car. I wish to send condolences to his family. We will miss you very much.

We will all miss Steve back here in Texas. He was the most optimistic person that I ever met, "everything has an upside he would say".
I was a co-worker with Steve at Texas Instruments. He was always the first person that I would turn to for help with a math or electronics question. He was truely happy and eager to share his vast knowledge.
He has been e-mailing us of any projects that he has undertaken concerning his house or his beloved Comero.
Steve's huge smile will be missed.

Steve was always very generous in helping members of the international software community understand technical aspects of CANbus.  He helped many of us over the years, and we came to appreciate him as a mentor and long-distance friend. I wish to extend my condolences to his family as well as express my thanks to Steve for his generous help and friendship.

My thoughts are with Steve's family. Steve was a good friend for many years and he will be missed. I first met Steve when he was a student at USF. He would often come out to my glass studio in Lutz. Steve was one of the smartest people I knew, and one of the nicest. We have always kept in touch, and the news of his untimely passing is quite a shock. We will miss you Steve.

I wish to send my condolences to Steve's family, I am very sorry to hear this news.  Steve and I were co-worker's at Texas Instruments in Dallas.  Steve was a very interesting and fun guy.  I'm sad to see his life end all too soon.  My prayers are with you.
