Virginia Jo was born in Rossville, Georgia to the late Roy and Cora Elliott. She was a long standing member of Central Baptist Church of Hixson and loved her church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Parsley and her siblings, R. W. and Kenneth Elliott.
Virginia Jo is survived by her children, Anna Joyce Parsley Escue and Ernie Carl Parsley and wife Teresa; grandchildren, David Wayne Escue and wife Rhonda and Paula Denise Escue, Regina Faye McCrory and husband Mike and Amy Annett Adams; five great grandchildren; siblings, Morris Elliott and wife Leinda and Doris Jean Elliott Gray; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 (noon) until 2:30 pm on Saturday at the North Chapel.
A celebration of life service for Virginia Jo will follow at 2:30 pm on Saturday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
