Wally Newell Henry, 93, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019. He retired after 26 years of service to the Federal Government and Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant. Wally was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Chattanooga.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen J. Henry and brother, Dr. Warren B. Henry.
He is survived by his son, Buddy (Julia) Henry; grandchildren, Tina Sullivan and Brent (Jessica) Henry; great-grandchildren, Jake Sullivan, Jackson Henry, Nick Sullivan, Olivia Henry, Hayden Montgomery and Walker Montgomery; niece, Lisa Henry; half-sister, Sharon Bancroft.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 12 pm to 2 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel.
Burial will be held privately.
