

Born on September 28, 1951, William was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, TN. He was preceded in death by his cherished daughter, Erin McGee, and is survived by his two loving daughters, Mary Taylor and Kelli McGee; his devoted brother, Ken Mcgee; and his treasured grandchildren, Austin Faulkner, Benjamin Bishop, Jackson Bishop, and Harper Taylor. William also leaves behind his nieces, Angel McGee and Rebekka Gayton, as well as extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
William attended the University of TN at Chattanooga where he double majored in Chemistry and Biology and also played basketball. During his career, William worked as a chemist in several research laboratories throughout the country including in Hawaii and Idaho, places he cherished. In 1999, William founded Chattanooga Medical Supply, an online medical equipment company that continues to operate today.
William had many interests and was known for his love of gardening, fishing, camping and collecting vintage cars. Above all, William's greatest joy came from time spent with his daughters and grandchildren. They will continue to carry his stories, his humor and his love for the rest of their days. The family is grateful for all who are here today to celebrate his life and legacy.
Visitation will be held at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel, located at 5401 Highway 153, P.O. Box 9, Hixson, TN 37343, on November 23, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and again on November 24, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at the same venue on November 24, 2025, starting at 2:00 pm.
The committal service will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, 5351 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343, on November 24, 2025.
Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
