Agnes was born in Houston Texas to Charles Tate Mason and Mary Agnes Mason .
She graduated from Milby High School, Class of 1940. And worked in the clerical department at Ellington Field during the Second World War.
Agnes graduated from the University of Houston in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science and Technology Degree and an Associate Degree in Arts. She was also member of the Golden Key National Honor Society.
Agnes retired from Exxon in 1986 after many years of service as an executive secretary. Soon after retirement she moved to Pasadena Texas where she lived for more than 20 years.
Agnes was a devout Christian who read her Bible daily, a member of the United Methodist Church. And looked forward to the return of her Lord and Savior.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Mary Mason, sister Lucille McDonald and daughter Amy Lancaster Lafitte
Agnes is survived by her daughter Beth Hooker of Paris Texas and grandchildren April Lee, Holly Nestberg, Richard Lancaster III, Lori Cox and David Lancaster and her many great grandchildren.
