

After a long courageous battle with cancer, Agness Rushing Baranowski passed away at age 77 on January 7, 2017 peacefully at her home in Houston, Texas. She was born December 13, 1939 in Carthage, Texas. Agness was an amazing mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many people. She touched the hearts of everyone she met. She loved playing Bingo, putting puzzles together and cooking for anyone who walked through her front door. Agness enjoyed giving back to the Veterans by helping with the VFW Women’s Auxiliary.
She is preceded in death by her husband Steve Baranowski Sr.; granddaughter, Samantha Parry; Brother, Billy Charles Rushing; Sister, Peggy Rushing and her parents. She is survived by Daughters, Nora Henson, Vickie Parry & husband Sam, Lisa Baranowski-Allgood & husband Larry; Sons, Marshall Lilley & wife Carmel, Michael Baranowski and wife Teresa, Steve Baranowski Jr. and wife Farrah, Robert and wife Lori, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Laverne Rushing Urbanek and brother, Tommy Rushing & wife Patty.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 2 p.m., with burial services on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 9 a.m. at the Houston National Cemetery.
