Alejandra Cortez Arroyo, 71, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away September 9. 2016. Preceding her in death are her parents, Manuel and Alejandra (Linares) Cortez; one brother and three sisters. She is lovingly survived by her husband of 46 years, Leonard F. Arroyo, Jr.; daughters, Renee Garza and husband Heron Garza, Jr., Mandy Arroyo; grandchildren, Marissa, Erin Garza, Gracie and Abbey Garza; sister, Juanita Lopez.
Visitation 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Graveside services 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Houston National Cemetery.
