Aline Carrie Foster

"Maw" Aline Carrie Foster, age 86, left this world to be with the Lord on April 25, 2017. She passed peacefully in her sleep in Brookhaven, Mississippi. She was visited by her loved ones often, and cared for by compassionate care givers during her final days.

Aline was born March 15, 1931 at King's Daughter's Hospital to Icie and JB Allbritton in Brookhaven, Mississippi. She married Odis Lamar Foster and daughter Jean was born to the young couple. Shortly thereafter, Aline and Odis, also lovingly known as "Maw" and "Paw" relocated their family to Houston, Texas. Once in Houston, Aline gave birth to Jimmy Lamar Foster. She was a skilled seamstress for many years and she also worked faithfully along side her husband, managing a great number of rental properties. She was passionate about caring for her family and she took pride in the accomplishments of her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Odis; son, Jimmy and his daughter Klnice; and her brother Archie. She is survived by her daughter, Jean; her grandson's' Robert Legg and wife Jenny, and Jack Burkhalter and wife Tilly; great grandchildren, Sheldon Legg, Logan Burkhalter, and Eli Legg, as well as her brother, Robert Allbritton and wife Martha.

Visitation will be held 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas, 77060, with the Celebration of LIfe Funeral Service to be at 2:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
