

She attended Franklin Public Schools. Sister Turner accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Church Of God In Christ in Franklin, TX.
Sister Turner married the late Rev. Eddie N. Turner on May 4, 1957 and relocated to Houston, TX. She was a First Lady and served under the leadership of her late husband, Rev. Eddie N. Turner until his death. To this union one son was born, Eddie Ray Turner. She continued her service at Holy Valley Church Of God In Christ under the leadership of Superintendent Billy Carrington with presiding Bishop Iglehart and Supervisor Mother Yolander Ford until her illness. She was also a member of Waller District #1.
Sis. Turner always devoted quality time with her family and she always greeted everyone with a smile. When anyone would come to her home, she always made you feel welcome with open arms. She loved to bake and cook. She never wanted anyone to leave her home hungry.
Sis. Turner was a loving daughter, wife, sister, grandmother and friend. She was very wise and offered great advice.
Sis. Turner was preceded in death by her parents; Bernard McAfee Sr. and Ora Ferrell McAfee; five sisters, Ethel Sampson, Elmer Thomas, Ever Watson, Ella Webster and Alice Edwards; two brothers, John Willis McAfee and Ray Field McAfee. She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Eddie Ray Turner, two grandsons; LéNard and Shaun Turner; two great grandsons, Shaun Jr. and Seth Turner of Houston, TX; one brother, Bernard McAfee Jr. of Pearland; two sister-in laws, Joanne McAfee of Pearland, TX and Ruth McAfee of Fort Worth, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
